"My two boys, aged 10 and 9, thoroughly enjoyed their visit to the National Gallery with The Little Grand Tour. Isabel Lamb cleverly showed them pictures that she thought would interest them and they came back fired and enthused by what they had seen. Keeping the pictures down to just a few did not crowd their mind and they were able to understand exactly what was going on in each picture. They particularly liked "St George and the Dragon" and together with worksheets this allowed the boys to explore thoroughly the story of each picture. This was done in a fun and relaxed way which made it enjoyable rather than a bore. I would definitely recommend this to others and my boys will be back for more!"

"Isabel Lamb took our three daughters round Tate Britain. They set off: clipboards and pencils in hand to look round the galleries. They had a wonderful two hours discussing and copying the paintings. They came back full of ideas and energy. A great outing!"

"I really enjoyed the Little Grand Tour because I have never really looked so far into paintings before. It was really interesting to find out more about each painting. I was pleased to have the opportunity to see Van Gogh's Sunflowers becuase they are so famous but I never thought I would actually get to see them."
Madeleine Haynes, aged 9
"The Little Grand Tour is an original idea, and a real treat for young people - and their parents. It gives a real insight into art, without being too long or too intense. Hopefully it will inspire a lifelong interest in some of your guests. For parents - it is that trigger to encourage your children to start to appreciate art, when there are so many other competing obligations and chores on weekends and holidays."

"A visit to London from the country and a chance to visit Tate Britain! Isabel Lamb was the perfect person to show two children a small part of the collection which included Constable's landscapes, a contrast of modern art (interesting!) and a look at the art of portraiture during The Tudors without either exhausting them or completely putting them off! Hector 'loved the talents of all the different artists and the colour they used' and Katy 'liked looking at Constable's picture of "Salisbury Cathedral from the Meadows" and having to describe it'. They are both looking forward to visiting another museum in London this holidays with The Little Grand Tour."
